Another package from Phil and Chris arrived today. Inside the package there were 2 t-shirts and a toy for Alera. Unfortunately, the shirts were too big for him and he was making lots of noise when I put it on him, I guess he never wear a shirt before and this has made him a bit uneasy. Anyway, his wound is healing bit by bit everyday as you can see it in the photo attached on the left. Fur is growing too and I still have to put the cone on him just to make sure he is completely healed and not biting again. It took almost more than a month to heal so if he is biting it again, I will go crazy.... just kidding :)
Thank You again Phil and Chris!

oh dear - they were supposed to fit a daschund - we didnt think Alera was much smaller than that but we should have got medium instead of large!
We were hoping they would give Alera a break from wearing the cone while his wound healed. They were too big for Sooty too but she is only 3Kg (she is 18 and is losing weight due to a medical condition) but we hoped they would fit Alera. If we gathered them up on her back, it was ok and her paws stayed in - maybe gather them and put a clip on the back? But if the wound has nearly healed he might not need them anyway! Maybe they could be used at the shelter for an animal with a similar wound?
Oh well - was worth a try....
Adorable and cute!! He looks great with the sweater....LOL...he will fit later, Alera musb be only 8 months old :)
Thanks for sharing the video!!
The wound looks good :)
Thinking about it maybe a translation of Alera's comments wouldnt be a good idea - I dont think he was being polite! Something along the lines of take these T shirt things back Phil & Chris and let me at that toy.....
At the end of the video you can see how quick Alera can be - I wouldnt like to be on the sharp end of those front claws!
